"Perfect location in Munich if travelling by train and you don’t want to go far with heavy luggage. Not as an asthetically pleasing area as the old town but it’s a station area so we expected that. The location near the station was a big driver. However, once you step through to the driveway to the hotel it’s like a different world! All the decor was to the highest standard and from check-in to check-out the service was great. Extremely helpful front desk staff and even more so in the bar area. We had a family suite as there were the four of us and that was absolutely perfect. Couldn’t fault the rooms at all. Breakfast was reasonably priced but the food was far superior!! Fantastic choice and my teenagers loved all the gadgets, from the automatic butter and Nutella machine to the automatic jam dispenser! They had fresh pancakes every day! Delicious coffee to boot! My youngest used the gym (doing a 5k challenge) and it was basic, but functional. We will definitely be going back when we return to Munich next year, 100%. Thank you for making our holiday!"

"Will stay again - needs attention: bathroom sink tap need attention. Pool has an unseen submerged seat that is easy to hurt/injure the legs (could be coloured differently to make visible. Mattress in low-cost rooms need to be firmer (other Martims were firmer) - good points: all staff very good, from cleaning to reception to bar, all attentive and professional. Showers great. Hotel ambience great (quiet sanctuary in contrast to the busy city)"

"Somehow we accidentally booked a family room, even though there was only my wife & I. Last year we had a couples room w/ breakfast, and that is what we wanted again. When we checked in, the receptionist would not switch us. So we went to another front desk agent who did switch us; however, he had me write a novel as to why I wanted to switch. I'm 60, & never in my life have I had to do something like that - especially for a repeat customer! And of course there was no reduction in room rate?? Second visit was not as positive as the first, unfortunately."

"Not up to Maritim standard. I had previously registered my credit card and checked in with you on line but it was not in the system when I arrived or at the bar later in the evening. "I was shocked. Overused Factory. Unfriendly and not service oriented staff. Efficiency and mass handling more important than customer experience. I have booked a expensive senior suite to meet business clients. I had to book another lication for the meetings because I did not want to invite my business partners in this hotel!!! I remembered Maritim as a high class hotel, but this experience here was just the opposite of this…"

"Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. I have never seen a breakfast buffet like that in my life. Excellent! Location was perfect for us. We walked to everything. Not the nicest part of town, but that was not a priority for us. I kept hitting my head on one low part of the ceiling. Otherwise very comfortable room and beds. It was a little hard to keep the bathroom floor dry while taking a shower. Not a big deal. Staff was pleasant and helpful and happy to speak English if needed. I would definitely stay there again."

"An excellent hotel close to the central train and metro station, close to shops and various services, with plenty of mobility, but the atmosphere on the street where it is located is a bit rough. I believe that more policing in the area would be a bit more deterrent to potential delinquents who seem to frequent the street. We had no problems with security, but some guests may feel uncomfortable. We really enjoyed the varied breakfast. We really enjoyed the piano bar. We really liked the room. A final word about the friendliness of the staff, especially the late-night staff who welcomed us. They were really friendly. We will stay at this hotel again when we go to Munich again. Thank you for everything."

"Overall its value for money but !! Some things have to be fixed like - the refrigerator not freezing so our ice cream goes to waste. The is not enough coffee instant and milk instant -please put in the room more than 1. The shower it’s like missing a door and it’s open so all water goes out. The recipients are nice but it seems like have no peitance. And last thing !!! It’s really really frightening to go out when evening comes. I was with my child and after 20:30 we were in the hotel but when it became evening there are many many strange people (men groups) just in front of the hotel. But I understand it’s not only Maritim problem it’s Germany problem which in a personal note made me very sad. Thank you very much."

"We stayed for 2 nights in February and were so happy with our choice of hotel. The location of the hotel could not be better. Literally across the road from Hbf ( central station) a two minute walk and your there! From the moment we arrived in the lobby we were greeted warmly and the checkin process only took a few minutes. Our room was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfy. It was so good to lay down after 36 hours of travelling from Australia. And the breakfast the next morning was outstanding. Thank you to all the staff ( especially Paul) at reception who kindly gave us suggestions of where to dine , to directions of how to get to places. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble! We will definitely stay here again if we visit Munich in the future and will certainly be recommending The Maritim Munchen to our friends. Thanks again for a memorable stay from Anna and Bob 😊"

"We were first woken at 8.30 with the cleaner knocking on the door then opening with keys. Then again at 9.00 then again at 9.45 then again at 10.20. Same woman - unbelievably bad when check out is 12. The room was very spacious and clean and our check in guy was so helpful (no food available at night) but we were able to purchase crisps at the reception."

"Stop asking 5 euros for sauna (where 3 people can not fit), fitness (where you do not have enough machines), bathrobes. 2 euros for luggage storage and etc... You are a four star hotel not a 10 euro hostel... It is not the money, it is the behaviour... Increase your price by 10 euros and do not be so cheapy.. No tea, coffee facilities in room. Breakfast has less product varieties than other maritim hotels in Germany."

"As a flight crew, we stayed at your hotel in Munich on October 22nd, after a long overnight flight. We had booked three rooms for three nights. Upon arrival, we kindly asked the receptionist if we could access the breakfast service after settling into our rooms, even if just for a coffee and a croissant. This request was categorically refused, which we accepted without insisting, despite the already rather unwelcoming reception we had experienced. I had specifically requested a quiet room, but to my surprise, someone attempted to enter my room in the middle of the night, as well as the rooms of my colleagues, which woke us all up. Furthermore, at 7:30 in the morning, I was again disturbed by hammering noises coming from a neighboring room. This morning, I also reported an unsettling noise in the elevator to the same receptionist, who greeted me with a condescending attitude before reluctantly checking the issue. This series of incidents is far from acceptable for a hotel of your standard. As a community of pilots who regularly stay at reputable hotels, we are extremely disappointed by this experience and will not return to your establishment. We hope you will take the necessary measures to improve your services in the future. Sincerely, TURBE 539"

"For a hotel of this expectation by myself I was totally disappointed. After long days out as a tourist, there is no relaxation available. The only English channels on TV are American news channels. How hard is it to provide streaming channels. The bed is hard, not as comfortable as cheaper hotels I have enjoyed. Needs USB ports as well."
