"This is the 3rd year we have used the hotel for our Oktoberfest stay , it's a very good base to explore Munich and visit the Fest . Good for public transport links . A bad start when the room we were given had a naked couple on the bed when we opened the door , but that was put right after I told reception ( a couple with a similar name had been given our room in error) . We were given a different room . Breakfast is a very good buffet ."

"We was here for the second time during Oktoberfest and find this hotel friendly and with nice and solution-oriented staff. Breakfast is good but a point to be improved would be that the customers could have time-slot for the breakfast as at some "prime-time" in the morning there are no free tables. The room was tidy and good cleaned every day. We'll be back next year."

"Hand and shower soap was not refilled. Had to remind receptionist twice. Room was next to lift which I have asked to change and they did immediately which is great. Chamber Maid came into room 1145am without knocking first, check out is 12 noon. Other than that, its alright."

"We went to Munich for the first time for a meeting. The Hotel as well room and bathroom were neat and clean. The location was good. Just 2 min walk from tram station (straßenbahn). The receptionist was also friendly and very helpful. Everything was organised."

"The reception staff were very helpful. The rooms were basic but that was expected. My room was not cleaned during my stay. When I asked a lovely cleaning lady to do it. She needed to contact her supervisor due to language barrier, which was totally fine. However the supervisor was rude and refused to clean the room claiming I had do not disturb sign earlier. Which was not the case."

"Ibis is a bit far out from the centre but it’s a quick 15 min tram ride and 20 min walk or hop on another tram for 10 mins. Easy to use public transport. Hotel was great 24/7 bar and staff were brilliant. Very friendly and very helpful"

"We stayed for one night as we were travelling through by car. The hotel is not on the main motorways, but is easy to get to and is close enough to the centre of Munich to have a good balance between access and proximity to the centre. Staff were very friendly and rooms were decent, as I would normally expect. Overall very happy with the stay."

"Ibis munich city south stands up to the Ibis standards. Hotel is located a bit far from city center but you can get there very quickly using public transportation from multiple nearby stations. The staff is very friendly helping guests and providing any information they might need. Overall it was a great experience."

"no more than 7/8 mins walk from the U-Bahn, so easy to get to all the sights in Munich. Warm welcome when we arrived and allocated nice rooms next door to one another. Rooms were just perfect with ice cold air conditioning during the hot weather. Nice big walk in showers. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice including hot selection, fresh fruits and lovely cold meats and bakery items. Would definitely use again when visiting Munich."

"The room was tidy, the service from staff very nice. The parking was full so we had to park in the street, with slight worry for a break in due to a packed holiday car. The neighborhood was unpleasant. No normal restaurants for dinner and not a good atmosphere. The Ibis is located next to a football stadium, hence the neighborhood was swamped with drinking guys on the streets. Not the best type I might add. We drove the car to the centre of town for dinner. Conclusion: ok place to crash for the night, but nothing beyond that."

"It was an overnight stay and we didnt expect much, knowing Ibis brand very well. But we were extremely satisfied with the hotel. The room was very clean, not big, but enough space for 3 of us. Our daughter had a separate bed, according to a new Ibis standard. Bedding is new and comfortable. Breakfast very tasty and enough of everything. The hotel is one side to the road, but windows are very sound proof. All Accor brand standards are met. We felt very welcome and would love to come again."

"Overall my stay was good. Service by hotel employees was good and the night crew was specially accomodating. The rooms lacks some basics like a mini fridge, coffemaker/kettle. Parking is challenging, some of the parking spots are difficult to get into, and it fills.up quickly, so even if you pay for parking you might end up having to park at the MotelOne garage. The makeshift bed in the family room is uncomfortable as you keep hitting your head with the framing (about a thir of the bed is under the framing)."

"My cousin is with disabilities and the guys at the reception helped me to put him in the wheelchair. This was very kind of them. Also the hotel is very well located, close to the U2 train station and close to the city center. In max 20 minutes you can reach anywhere in Munich. The room was very clean."

"Comfortable and quiet, relaxing nights recharging for the busy days and evenings. Saturday evening the Tv reception was not available due to high winds and storms - offer of compensation with one of drink voucher. Sunday evening same scenario no Tv available. Guessing the TV engineers not willing to work weekends ! Monday TV was available. Wednesday 6th April early evening requested a Helles at the bar - was sceptical while the beer seemed cloudy - bar man said it was usual ! When tasting it was a Weissenbier - apparently Paulaner had the wrong colour coding on the barrel. Was quite entertaining for the Bayern fans from Freiburg and myself."
