"It's a business trip, we booked this hotel because of the recommendation from the event organizers. I would like give fully satisfied feedback for the breakfast and the stuff there, but very unhappy with the receptionist, both the check in (long waiting because room were not ready, wrong payment values) and check out (long waiting because of very disorganized process of getting receipt or invoice, e.g. getting refund because of wrong payment at check in, and needing to call up our own proof of payment to prove that we had paid for the breakfast, otherwise we are required to pay twice)."

"It was generally a good stay, the hotel is near the centre, the room was comfortable and clean but there were some drawbacks in the bathroom: the water in the bathtub drained very poorly and the flush in the toilet was very weak, so it was necessary to repeat several times."

"Not only is the location ideal for short stays but the environment outside of the city limits of Munich makes it a delightful place for both casual and business meetings. It's proximity to the quaint township of Freising is also a big plus point. Rooms are spacious and adequately facilitated and cleanliness well noted. Overall a very pleasant experience."

"Good breakfast, was refilled constantly. Pillows very soft and unfortunately the restaurant/bar were closed. We could sit in their garden with drinks from their fridge at reception, would be a lovely place to have as a real restaurant. Reception staff was friendly, arranged a taxi to the airport as well."

"Was booked for 4 nights, left after 1st night (even though remaining 3nights were not refunded). Was not aware across from Railway, which ran late into the night. Fan was provided but did not work. Needed to carry heavy luggage up one floor to elevator, no support services provided by hotel staff. Twice went to the front desk and both times employees engaged in conversation and I was to wait until they were done (no other customers)."

"My stay was satisfactory. Challenges were tight parking and the temperature in the room was quite warm with limited ventilation, therefore the nights were somewhat uncomfortable. The breakfast offering was top notch!"

"Convenient location for getting to the airport the next day. Check in was fantastic, very friendly staff. Got us in a room early and with recommendations for food and getting to Old Town. They ordered us a cab to the airport. The only real complaint I have is that the carpets throughout were filthy and could use a good cleaning or replaced. The rest of the place was clean!"

"The shower in my room was broken (and looked like it had been broken for some time). It was not fixable and I was offered a change of room at 10pm on second night, after a very long day. The staff would not allow me to simply use the other room’s shower, insisting that I had to pack up and move my things late at night when I just wanted to go to sleep."

"We stayed in Room 251. This room had 3 large roof supports which made it difficult to go from the bed to the bathroom. We had to leave a light on at night so we would not hit our heads. The room should have come with a 'hard hat' to prevent head injury. We did not request another room since we were on a tight schedule with an early morning flight home. I would like someone to look into this room and determine that it is appropriate for hotel guests. The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgable"

"The hotel is close to the airport and hence easy to reach by car. The rooms are small and I was surprised to find that the toilet was not absolutely clean - obviously not well checked or cleaned. What I found very disappointing was that in the garage there are parking spots reserved for women but these are occupied by cars whose drivers are obviously male. I saw them parking and their reaction to my comment that this was a parking spot for a woman was "so what". If one has reserved parking spots for women there needs to be a way to monitor that they are used by women. Or don't have designated parking spots for women."

"Facilities such as tv and rest are old age and outdated. I dont think they will work on it. No bar or restaurant at the hotel which is another problem and the amount charged is as heavy as the other 4 stars hotel with all the new and updated options. Thats my genuine feedback if the hotel is upgraded to the new facilities it will be one of the best."

"Comfortable rooms with accommodating and friendly staff. Shuttle to the airport costs 15 Euros and the trip takes a good 12-15 minutes. Friesling town is a nice little cozy town which is pedestrian-friendly. All in all, I would stay there again. The friendly front desk staff made our day by accommodating every request."

"Not really clean rooms, found hairs in the bathroom and stains on the toilet button. Also stains on the carpet and on the armchair, overall impression a bit neagtive therefore. "The room was nice and the bed firm - just what I need. The temperature in the room was a bit too hot, even after turning the heating down and opening the window for a few minutes. Short drive to MUC airport and short walk into the city center to have a last supper before returning to the US. The parking in the garage is challenging, especially if you are used to US size garages/parking spots. If you need to open the car doors completely to get out of your car, don't even try to park down there."

"This location is well located if you have to take a flight out of Munich and is close walking distance to the city centre, where you can find a lot of nice restaurants. However, the WiFi did not reach our room. When I mentioned this to the front desk, he made it sound as if I didn't know how to connect to WiFi. It was insulting. I had to stand out in the hallway and down the hall to get reception. The beds were also very hard and uncomfortable. I normally sleep no problem on any bed but couldn't get a proper sleep on this one. They also tried to charge me 20€ upon checkout even though I had prepaid through the Accor app and had specifically confirmed on check-in that everything was good with the payment."

"On arrival, the hotel has two Google map locations and the wrong one is more prominent than the real one, so it took us a good half an hour to figure out where the right location was. And on check out, the old lady who was working on the counters was extremely rude. As we cane to drop the room key, and since we certain that we had made the payment prior to arrival, she rudely told us, "accommodation isn't free here". So we were shocked on why she had to say such a thing, she then rudely told us how she has to take payment. We showed her the payment debit message from my bank confirming that the hotel had actually taken the money off my account, but she insisted she must take the payment as she didn't care or even trust our bank messages. Awful individual she was."

"we have stayed with Accor hotels for years now. I expected more from Mercure !! Our room was in the older building and that's ok nice high ceilings paid for a suite, there were no towels in the room. Went to front desk where we simply handed me a stack of towels, maybe this how you do it. Do your own house keeping. Then as it turned to evening we had no working lights in the tv part of the suite. Don't know if it was burnt out or simply didn't work. Also the one bathroom light by the mirror did not work either. The big reset you now get less for more. Won't be staying at Mercure or Ibis again."

"Overall the room was ok. There were some issues though. 1. The walls in the shower looked like there was mold between the tiles. It's like it hasn't been actually scrubbed in a while. 2. The carpets had stains all over them. Didn't give the tenant a feeling of cleanliness. 3. The pillows were just sad. They were super flat and was as if they had no stuffing at all. Even when I folded the pillow in half two times it wasn't rough to support my head at all. You definitely need to invest in a much better quality pillow. Otherwise, everything was fine. The staff was very polite and helpful. The location is very convenient. Overall, it was a good stay, but not a great one"

"We thought you were an airport hotel but you were no closer than any other hotel in Freising. We booked 5 weeks early but you gave us a room on the "noisy" street side. I have never seen dirtier carpets in a hotel. Breakfast was good but way too expensive at $25pp. In any other hotel it would have been included. I rarely complain about hotels but this needed to be said."

"The hotel was an easy walk from the train station. The room was good although the low beams over the bed posed a bit of a problem when getting up during the night. We asked for a 5am wake-up call which never came, not even by the time we exited the hotel at 5.30am. Accommodation is limited in Freising so this is a good choice."

"Great location, 5 min to center and 7 min to train and bus to airport. The hotel is in two buildings, one with and one without AC. The rooms have been recently renovated in a tastefully matter, they are comfortable and well appointed. Those facing the river and the garden are quiet. All very good except for the desk staff, uniformly uninspired, unhelpful and uninformed."

"This hotel is in a good location for visiting Freising. You can walk everywhere. The room was very clean and tidy. But we overlooked the noisy road to so kept the window closed at night. The Aircon didn't manage to keep the room cool. The "double bed" was two singles pushed together. Not great for a couple."
