The Platzl Hotel is situated just a few steps away from the Marienplatz in Munich with direct access to all relevant spots, attractions and public transportation options. The authentic interior of this historical place is characterized by traditional style elements along with modern trends of an urban-bavarian design. After a full refurbishment of the rooms product in April 2017 this symbiotic concept will have been applied consistently throughout all 167 guestrooms and 7 conference rooms. An important part of the hotel´s philosophy forms the use of selected regional products in the kitchens of all gastronomic outlets: The Restaurant Pfistermühle with its fine dining options and wide range of wines as well as the Wirtshaus Ayingers, known for its indigenous Bavarian menu and locally brewed beers.
The Josefa Hotel Bar & Kaffee, within the vivid lobby area serves a classic variety of drinks and cocktails in modern Bavarian elegance. The outside bar Platzl Karree represents a unique bar concept in Munich's old town: with its stylish and yet down-to-earth design the balance between tradition and modernity is perfectly captured
