Chalet Virtus

Details
Virtus is our most exclusive luxury chalet, on the perfect location, directly next to the main Lauchernalp ski piste. It has 270 degrees views of the Lötschental valley, through its wall to ceiling full glass windows.

Virtus is a HUF Haus, originally built by the owners of the Lauchernalp Resort as their family vacation home.

Key features:

250m2 of total indoor living space, and 100m2 terraces overlooking the pistes, with a large build in BBQ (wood) and gas BBQ. Large open plan, well equipped self-catering kitchen and living room with fireplace (wood), ideal for hosting your friends and family for dinner and apéro 3 en suite bedrooms & bathrooms, with twin beds that can be configured as doubles.

The Master Bedroom has its own floor, and large bathroom with shower and bath. This floor includes an open plan area with 2 x single beds, ideal for children.

Description

A WORLD CLASS DESTINATION
Welcome to Lauchernalp Resort. The region is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site, a ski and spa resort, in a league of its own. The mountain panorama reveals a landscape that is simultaneously incomparably unspoiled, wild and peaceful.

Lauchernalp has kept its boutique and friendly character, and invites you to relax and spend time in nature away from the major tourist centres, but with excellent access.

Every season offers vast possibilities for exploring: skiing and free-riding with ski-in ski-out access, gorgeous hike and bike trails, strong cultural traditions and awe inspiring panoramic views.

Lauchernalp is a paradise for Winter sports enthusiasts, with world famous Freerider opportunities (easily doubling the available piste kilometres). In addition there´s the close proximity of the ski lifts to Lauchernalp Resort Residences. On the glacier, at an altitude of more than 3,000 metres, you will find the highest winter hiking trail in Europe with a spectacular panorama of dozens of 4000 meter peaks. In the colourful autumn there are separate hunting grounds, in the Summer the location is perfect for mountain biking, climbing and trekking.

Property and Cancellation Policies :
CANCELLATION POLICY & PAYMENT SCHEDULE

25% of your total stay cost will be charged as a deposit at reservation.
You can cancel for free until 1 month prior to arrival (CET time zone). In this case your deposit will be refunded.
The final 75% is charged 1 month before arrival.
If you cancel within 1 month before the arrival date (CET time zone), or are a now show, 100% of the stay will be charged for late cancellation or no show.

PRICES & CURRENCY CONVERSION

The property is in Switzerland, and the rental costs are charged in Swiss Francs (CHF), 25% at the time of booking, and 75% 1 month prior to stay.
If you haven't selected the price of your booking to be shown in Swiss Francs (CHF), the shown prices are converted to show you the approximate cost in your selected currency.
The exchange rate might change before you pay, specifically impacting the final payment of 75% 1 month before your stay.
Keep in mind that your card issuer may charge you a separate foreign transaction fee.

High season 2021-2022 is from 18 December until 18 April 2022
Regular season 2022: 14 May 2022 until 17 December 2022
High season 2022-2023 is from 17 December 2022 until 15 April 2023

GOOD TO KNOW:
The Lauchernalp Resort apartments and chalets are self catered and come with a full kitchen.
There are no breakfast/lunch/dinner services. Various restaurants and a supermarket are nearby.
There is no room service.
The units come with bed linen and towels. Should you require a change of bed linen or towels, please reach out to our Reception Staff
The end cleaning after your stay is included in the price. Should you require more regular cleaning or housekeeping, please reach out to our Reception Staff.
Our resorts are in the middle of nature, and our cleaning crew is used to moderately dirty chalets and apartments. However, if a unit is perceived as overly dirty, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee up to CHF 400.
Damages to the unit and its furniture will be charged to guests.
