5 room chalet with balcony
The house can accommodate a maximum of 8 people (two double rooms, one triple room and one single room). On the upper floor there are three bedrooms plus bathroom and on the lower floor a double room with parlour and kitchen-living room. Guests will find a selection of literature as well as a number of exciting games to shorten the rainy days, which are rare in Valais, and to spend great evenings. There is a modern shower and WC on the same floor. A hairdryer is available. The house also has a fully equipped modern kitchen (with fridge, ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher and coffee machine) with dining area, as well as a cosy living room with an old stove from the 1920s, which is fully functional and heats the living area during the colder months of the year. The holiday flat has a flat-screen TV with Swisscom TV. There is also a covered balcony with seating and a view of the impressive Bietschhorn. There is a cellar in the basement where you can store your sports equipment. We are a non-smoking household.

Description
Experience a unique stay in a typical Valais house built in 1963. The two-storey detached house (chalet) is located on the sunny side of the village. The house is located directly on the hiking trail towards Fafleralp/Weissenried. The location is quiet and idyllic with a direct view of the old mill and the typical Valais barns and stables! The chalet was completely renovated in 2023 and offers the comfort of a modern house on 140 m2 (fully equipped kitchen and 2 modern bathrooms). At the same time, the charm of the original building has been preserved. During the gentle renovation, great importance was attached to the use of local materials (local wood and sheep's wool for the walls and their insulation) and non-toxic building materials without paints and solvents were used. We have deliberately not installed Wi-Fi to encourage guests to slow down.
Conditions/extras
The rent is CHF 120 per night for 2 people. Each additional person pays CHF 20 more per night. Children up to 3 years are free, from 3 to 12 years CHF 10 per day. There is a cleaning charge of CHF 150 per stay. From 5 persons CHF 200. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. In addition to the rent, there is a tourist tax (CHF 4.80 per adult/night and CHF 2.40 per child (6-16 years)/night. After your booking you will be given the opportunity to register here for the guest card / visitor's tax. We will send you a link by e-mail to print out the guest card or hand it to you on arrival. By paying the visitor's tax, our guests receive discounts. Pets are only allowed by prior arrangement CHF 10.00/pet/night, minimum 30.-Fr in total. We kindly ask you to inform us about pets when booking.
