Einige davon sind auf die Bedürfnisse von Rollstuhlfahrern eingerichtet.

Von unserer Herberge aus sind es nur wenige Minuten bis zum Bodensee und zur Altstadt. Jenseits der Stadtgrenzen sonnen sich Gärten und Weinberge. Sie wollen Ihren Familienurlaub aktiv gestalten? Sie wollen sich kopfüber ins nasse Vergnügen stürzen? Sie wollen lernen und entdecken? All das ist möglich. Sportskanonen können sich austoben bei Mountainbiking, Kanutouren, Surfen, Segeln, ...
Im Winter bietet sich hier das ideale Revier zum Rodeln, Ski- oder Snowboardfahren. Die Berge sind ja gleich vor der Tür.
Um Ihnen die Ausflüge noch angenehmer zu machen, bietet unsere Jugendherberge einen eigenen Fahrradverleih. Auch für den Winter sind wir bestens gerüstet. Da bekommen Sie bei uns Schlitten.
Für Abkühlung sorgt der Bodensee. Entern Sie das Strandbad Eichwald oder eines der vielen nahegelegenen Seebäder. Das neue Therme Lindau lädt ein ins Familienbad oder in die Sauna und dies direkt am Bodenseeufer.
Für Wissbegierige gibt es Ausflüge in Hülle und Fülle, wie zum Beispiel die Blütenpracht auf der Insel Mainau, das Zeppelinmuseum Friedrichshafen oder die Rappenloch- und Alplochschlucht, den Affenberg Salem oder die Pfahlbauten in Unteruhldingen. Wir haben Programme für jeden Geschmack, unter anderem für Familien: Ski- und Snowboardkurse, Silvester-, Oster- und Pfingstfreizeit, Bodenseepiraten.
Zu unserer Jugendherberge gehört auch der Dreiklang: harmonische Atmosphäre, gesunde Ernährung und Entspannungs- und Aktivprogrammen. Fragen Sie uns.
Der Urlaub beginnt an der Herbergstür
Bei uns fängt der Urlaub schon am Eingang an. Sie wohnen im denkmalgeschützten Rosenhof, eine der attraktivsten Herbergen Bayerns. Ein Erlebnisbrunnen lässt das Wasser leise in die Lobby plätschern und holt das Flair des Bodensees direkt ins Haus.
Die ideale Umgebung für Seminare und Tagungen. Wir haben gleich fünf Tagungsräume für bis zu 200 Personen.
Auch musikalisch können Sie und Ihre Gruppe sich frei entfalten. Lassen Sie unsere Herbergsmauern erklingen.
Gute Laune nach Art des Hauses bietet unser Dachstudio mit Klavier, Bistro, Tischtennis, Kicker und Billard. Die kleinen Gäste kommen von unserem Kinderspielplatz, der Spielwiese und dem Spielzimmer nicht mehr los.
Also der nächste Familienurlaub oder Ausflug mit Ihrer Gruppe kann kommen.

Optimal arrival by train & city bus from Munich - Lindau - Zurich and Ulm - Lindau - Innsbruck
From the new Lindau-Reutin train station, walk approx. 500 m to the youth hostel.
From Lindau-Insel main station, walk approx. 2.5 km or take the city bus (runs every 30 minutes) to the youth hostel (line 2 or 5, change at the central transfer point = ZUP, line 1 or 3 to the "Jugendherberge" stop). Larger groups should book their journey on the city bus in advance by calling 08382 7040.
Luggage transport from Lindau-Insel main station to the youth hostel
With the Lindau radio cab you can have your luggage conveniently transported from the station to the youth hostel. Price per trip: 35 euros for a group of up to 35 people. Registration by telephone on 08382 9423491
Arrival by coach/car
From Ulm on the A7 to Memmingen, continue on the A96 Munich - Memmingen - Lindau. After the Lindau freeway exit, follow the signs for "Lindau-Insel" and then the signs for "Jugendherberge", directly next to the Lindaupark shopping center. Arrival by bike
Lindau is located directly on the Lake Constance cycle path. The youth hostel is located in the Gartenstadt area and is approx. 8 minutes by bike from the island. Follow Bregenzer Straße in the direction of Bregenz/A96 and the signs for "Jugendherberge". The youth hostel is located near the Lindaupark shopping center.
Differing cancellation conditions
Families and individual guests:
Families and individual guests can cancel free of charge nationwide up to 7 days before arrival (stay booking, no package tour).
If a family member traveling with you is demonstrably ill with Corona, there is a right of cancellation free of charge until 6 p.m. on the day before arrival.
Groups / schools / conferences:
For 2022 there is a free right to cancel 4 weeks before arrival.
All guests are granted an additional pandemic-related right to cancel free of charge up to 6 p.m. on the day before arrival in the following cases:
- If the booked trip cannot take place with all participants due to corona-related official bans or restrictions, there is a right to cancel free of charge insofar as this is necessary.
- If the destination or home town is considered a risk area according to the RKI assessment.
- If, at the time of the booked arrival, one or more participants are proven to be ill with Covid-19 or are under quarantine imposed by the health authorities, there is a right of termination free of charge with regard to the participants concerned.
- In comparable cases in which it is completely or partially impossible or considerably more difficult for the participants to make use of the travel services on site, there is a right of termination free of charge insofar as this is necessary in the individual case.
- Insofar as the departure of individual or all participants from the home or destination location should become impossible due to a local lockdown imposed for reasons of infection control law, there is a right of termination free of charge with regard to those participants who are affected by this.
