Guided-tour through the European Astronaut Centre

The stars are within your reach. Together with Cologne Tourist Board you and your guests will discover exclusively the European Astronaut Centre (EAC)
which is onsite the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Cologne-Wahnheide. The European Astronaut Corps will be trained at EAC for space missions, especially on the International Space Station (ISS).
A lecture at the cinema hall and an excursion of the training area – the centerpiece of EAC – are part of the program. Following the guests can ask questions about the work of EAC, the space training, as well as the manned spaceflight in general.

Transfer from/to City Center is not included in the below stated prices. If needed, we are pleased to book your transport by bus against surcharge.  Guides tours on workdays between 5:00pm to 7:00pm • On request also available during the weekend. Max. size per group: 25 persons.

Registration requirement: latest 15-20 Min. before start of the tour at DLR gateway. Official photo identification or passport is required and must be shown on the spot.

In advance to your guided tour through the European Astronaut Centre the following information must be provided 14 days before the fixed date of the tour:

1. given name

2. surname

3. date of birth

4. nationality

5. address

6. COVID-certificate

People who are not included on the list or whose information is incomplete cannot participate on the tour.

Due to the fact that the EAC is a dynamic workspace, circumstances, such as PR activity or astronaut training, may lead to alterations or the cancelation of the tour. Space Time Concepts reserves the right to cancel or alter fixed tours on short term notice.
In such cases Space Time Concepts strives to provide you with a timely, alternative tour date. Please consider this when you are planning your trip.

The data required for the tour of all group participants will be forwarded by KölnTourismus GmbH to Space Time Concepts GmbH. Space Time Concepts GmbH will forward this data immediately to the visitor registration of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Cologne, Porz. The KölnTourismus GmbH as well as the Space Time Concepts GmbH delete the personal data after successful forwarding or after conclusion of the event.
