The daylight bathroom is really beautiful and spacious with tub and seperate stepless walk in shower.
The room is located on the 3rd floor (no elevator) however, we will always help with luggage and the cathedral and oldtown view, especially from the seating area on the upstairs gallery is absolutely spectacular.

The room is 9m2/97sqft. large (or small) and is very cozy and popular. However, if you need more space you can also book a doubleroom for single use.

We do not recommend this room for 3 adults, however, as there is very little storage space if used as a triple room!

You can find our hotel in the heart of the historic city center in a quiet side street, close to the historic city hall. After a complete renovation in summer 2011 we were able to implement many suggestions and fulfill the wishes of our guests. The result is a small, cozy and comfortable boutique hotel & café in the center of Cologne close to the main station, cathedral and “Altstadt“ (old town).

Directions
Hotel Stern am Rathaus is located on the Bürgerstrasse, close to the cathedral and main station and is therefore easily accessible by car or public transport.If you arrive at the main station (Koeln Hauptbahnhof) you will find our house within 5 minutes walking distance.
Coming down from the platform walk out the main entrance and turn left towards the cathedral. Before walking up the stairs turn left at the corner of the „Douglas“ perfume store. Now you will have the train station on your left and the cathedral on your right.
At the crossing turn to the right and enter the tunnel underneath the „Museum Ludwig“ there is some construction going on, but its possible to walk through! After the tunnel you will see a white uilding across the square and you can already spot the tower of the city hall above it. Continue to the left of the white building into „Bechergasse“ and at the corner in front of the City Class residence hotel turn right. Immediately at the corner of the souvenir shop „Bürgerstrasse“ starts on your left. Just ahead you will see the tower of the city hall and shortly before you arrive at our hotel on the left side.
