Our cozy holiday apartment on the top floor of the Schwarzwald-Chalet Scheuermatthof is set in a stunning hillside location in Todtnauberg, surrounded by forests, meadows, and panoramic mountain views. In winter, you can ski directly from the house. In summer, children play safely in the meadows, explore nearby streams, and enjoy nature to the fullest. This is more than just a holiday rental – this is nature on your doorstep.
The apartment offers approx. 80 m² of living space and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests – perfect for families or small groups.

Description
In Todtnauberg in the Black Forest, at the foot of the Feldberg, the Scheuermatthof is a luxurious hikers' lodge right on the edge of the forest with a fantastic view of the high valley of Todtnauberg. Stay overnight in our comfortable holiday flat in the Scheuermatthof with 80sqm for up to 8 people in a special atmosphere. Historical building substance combined with modern comfort and the special charm of an overnight stay in a hut. Old meets new. The holiday flat in the historic Schwarzwaldhof welcomes you with state-of-the-art technology and extensive facilities. Romance and cosiness without sacrificing comfort and amenities.
Use our large natural stone terrace directly at the house for barbecues, cosy get-togethers and celebrations. The Scheuermatthof is ideal for bachelor parties (JGA), girls' get-togethers, birthday parties, class reunions, seminars, workshops, company outings, reunions of friends, family reunions. In bad weather, use the large-screen TV with home cinema and 5.1 surround sound.
Electricity/heating current according to meter consumption 0.35 EUR/KWh. All prices include 7% VAT. Please bring your own bed linen and towels (see checklist for arrival at the booking confirmation/invoice) or book them additionally as a linen set in advance. To secure the booking, a credit card can be requested from the landlord.
Directions
At the entrance to the village, follow the main road in the direction of the village centre. At the entrance to the village, do not turn right down into Schwimmbadweg, even if the navigation system suggests this route. This is very narrow and requires winter equipment.Shortly after the former Hotel Bergvital, the approx. 100 m long and steep path leads up to the Scheuermatthof on the right next to the garage of the Scheuermatthof (keep left, do not drive/park right to the Weil ski club!). In case of slippery snow, snow chains and/or four-wheel drive are required. You could also park the vehicle down in and in front of the garage and walk the last 100 metres.
