Since its opening in 2011 offers the guesthouse Midori an exquisite minimalist design conforming to its Japanese style concept. Simplicity and functionality to the fore ensure an ideal stay for every guest. The building itself, constructed upon Passive Housing standards, serves the idea we aim to fulfill: sustainable development in unison with nature. Midori disposes of 66 guest rooms and 4 spacious Suites with free WiFi as well as the adjoined underground parking lot, which is also free of charge for our guests. As you arrive, you can conduct the self check-in at our Hotelomat directly at main entrance. Alternatively, just ring the bell so that we could open the door for you and check you in at the Reception desk on the 3rd floor. Do you expect to be arriving late? This is no problem at all! After 10.00 p.m. you have the opportunity for a convenient self check-in at the Hotelomat. The touchscreen shines to the left-hand side of the main entrance door, the user-friendly menu gives necessary instructions to receive your room keycard. Our nutritious breakfast provides you with a good start for your day. None of the costs are high when we think of our guests, therefore we selected premium organic products from the region which you are free to enjoy both in our penthouse as well as outside on the roof terraces. Take a rest in our sauna area after a long working day. There is a sauna and a sanarium for relaxation, wellness showers and a large quiet area to make the experience complete. Your health and well-being is our first priority: not only Midori is a non-smoking house, but also we use only allergy friendly bed linen and restrict the stay with pets only to the booked rooms or the lobby on the ground floor of our guesthouse. We hope for your understanding in that matter. Would you like to have a snack in the evening? Our bar offers you a fair choice of self-made sandwiches and organic wines. We will serve you at our bar counter. Crown the day with a wonderful view over Dossenheim and the neighbouring Odenwald from our roof terraces with a glass of a regional wine. Dossenheim is located on the outskirts of the beautiful Heidelberg city and hence combines peacefulness with good transport connections. Either by tram (15 minutes to the city center) or by car (autobahn is 3km away) – you easily reach most important places of Heidelberg and the surroundings.
