Hotel Die Hirschgasse Heidelberg
Heidelberg
Information service supplier
Description
The Hirschgasse was documented 1472 first time in a love story. Mark Twain wrote 1878 about Germany's oldest duelling house. Count von Bismarck fought Duells here as well and signed an old oak table still in use in the Mensurstube. Today it is a luxurious boutique hotel with 20 Laura Ashley suites with showcase bathtrooms and Jacuzzis nestled a little side valley. Located close by the famous Philosopher's Walk, it offers you a fantastic runners paradise on the paths of the Holy Mountain with marvellous views all over Heidelberg. So, do not forget your runners. The elegant "Le Gourmet" with 17 Gault Milau points offers a delightful romantic ambiance, walls covered in red and golden fabrics, inbetween sandstone walls and open timber style ceiling. Prepare for outstanding culinary revelations, served by a young French Service with esprit. The second restaurant - the historic "Mensurstube" next door offers regional cuisine with front cooking. A rose terrace with chirping birds and castle views invite to relax.
