Our comfortable Moierhof in Gstadt is located in the heart of Upper Bavaria, just a few steps from the shores of the beautifully situated Lake Chiemsee and with the panorama of the admirable Alpine foothills within easy reach. Here, nothing stands in the way of a long day at the beach or a relaxing boat trip to the islands.
The diversity of the nearby mountains, the sparkling lakes and the enchanting hiking and cycling trails for young and old alike make Chiemgau the perfect holiday destination.

About the host

As soon as you enter the lovingly renovated Moierhof in Gstadt, we want you to feel welcome and at home. With great respect for the history of this special place and a keen sense of modern living, we have created ten individual holiday apartments that combine tradition with contemporary comfort. Here you will find space to relax, enjoy and unwind – surrounded by the incomparable beauty of Lake Chiemsee and the Alps. It is our heartfelt desire that you not only find accommodation with us, but also a temporary home that will remain in your fond memories.

The Moierhof has been run by the Straßwender family for over 100 years – now in its fifth generation. Holiday guests, formerly known as ‘Sommerfrischler’ (summer visitors), have always been welcome at the Moierhof.

The special character of the Moierhof – its mature architecture, its quiet presence – reflects our own attitude as hosts: open, warm and delighted to welcome people to a special place. We hope that from the very first moment you will feel what is important to us: genuine hospitality that lasts.

The prices quoted do not include the visitor's tax of EUR 1.50 per person/night for persons aged 16 and over. Our non-smoking holiday apartments are all allergy-friendly, therefore pets are not allowed!

A deposit of 50% is required after successful booking.

We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance, as we charge a cancellation fee of 90% if a cancelled booking cannot be rebooked. A processing fee of EUR 100 applies in the event of a rebooking.

We offer a bread roll service on request. You can also order a breakfast basket with regional products in advance. Further information is available on request.

The house also has a snack cabinet with regional specialities, a drinks fridge and a fully automatic coffee machine with fresh milk.

A laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer is also available for your use.

If you need to take care of urgent office matters, we can offer you our Moierstubn seminar room. In addition to height-adjustable desks, it is equipped with a multifunctional display with a camera for video conferences. As we have a fibre optic connection, you have high-speed internet throughout the farm.

Your well-being is important to us. Whether it's a relaxing massage, a soothing yoga class in the garden or in the atmospheric vaulted stable: at Moierhof, you can unwind, recharge your batteries and enjoy your break in Chiemgau with all your senses.

If you are travelling by electric car, please let us know in advance. We have six wall boxes (11 kW each) in our carport parking spaces. Upon check-in, you will receive a charging card on request, which you can use to charge your car at one of our wall boxes at any time during your stay. The current rate for charging is 39 ct/kWh.

Free charging facilities for e-bikes are available at our bicycle parking spaces. 

Late check-in is possible via our key drop box using a code, subject to prior arrangement.

Pia und Jakob sind freundliche, sympathische Gastgeber! Toll, was die Beiden hier auf die Beine gestellt haben! Die Appartements sind mit allem Komfort und mit viel Liebe ausgestattet. Auch für Fahrrad-Abstellplatz und Lademöglichkeit für E-Bikes ist gesorgt. Der angebotene Frühstückskorb ist eine Sensation und das Angebot für Pilates, Yoga und Massagen kann sich sehen lassen! Die Schiffsstation zur Fahrt auf die Fraueninsel und nach Herrenchiemsee ist leicht fußläufig erreichbar. Auch der gut markierte Radweg führt direkt am Haus vorbei! In der Nachbarschaft befindet sich eine Bäckerei/kleiner Supermarkt in dem man sich mit dem notwendigsten eindecken kann. Der Moierhof ist ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen! Bravo!

Wir hatten von Anfang an einen sehr netten und unkomplizierten Kontakt per Mail. Vor Ort haben wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Apartment entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, alles sehr sauber! An jeden Komfort wurde gedacht und so eingerichtet, als wenn die Inhaber selber drin wohnen. Es wurde an nichts gespart. Der Hof wurde hochwertig saniert, traditionell und modern zugleich. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich nett. Man gelangt in nur 5 Gehminuten an den Chiemsee. Einfach nur traumhaft. Fahrräder kann man direkt gegenüber gegen eine Gebühr ausleihen und am See zum Bsp ein Stand-Up Paddle. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Absolut alles war positiv und beeindruckend. Hier wurde ein Ort geschaffen, der einen historischen Hof mit hochmoderner Ausstattung verbindet. Wir haben uns, dank des freundlichen Empfangs, vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind 1a ausgestattet. Alles ist durchdacht und aufeinander abgestimmt. Es wurde auf viele Details geachtet. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig, die Betten (Boxspring) bequem, die Bäder sind modern und bieten viel Stauraum. Die Küche ist mehr als ausreichend ausgestattet. Danke Pia und Jakob, dass wir eure Gäste sein durften. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Super schöne Ferienwohnung mit viel Geschmack und einer sehr guten Ausstattung. Die Lage ist perfekt. In unserer Wohnung hatten wir Seeblick. Fahrradverleih und ein Bäcker mit kleinem Supermarkt sind Nachbarn. Zum See mit diversen Wassersportmöglichkeiten, den Chiemsee-Fähren, Bushaltestelle, mehreren Restaurants und kleinen Boutiquen sind es nur ein paar Meter.
