 Lake Chiemsee, the “Bavarian Sea,” is almost at your feet at the Lieblingseck – only 150 meters separate you from the crystal-clear water.

Along the shore, you will find well-maintained lidos with swimming islands, sunny lawns, and quiet bays, all within a few minutes' reach.
Nature lovers will find numerous hidden bathing spots around Gstadt – ideal for relaxing, swimming, or simply unwinding with a view of the Alps. The lake offers ideal conditions for water sports enthusiasts: sailors and surfers appreciate the constant winds, while paddle boats, rowboats, and pedal boats can be rented directly in Gstadt. Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is also a popular way to experience the lake from a new perspective.

My name is Eduard Lorentz and I have worked in the international hotel industry for over 30 years – hospitality and quality are close to my heart.
After many years at home and abroad, I have fulfilled my dream of creating a place where comfort, style, and sustainability come together harmoniously with the “Lieblingseck” vacation apartment on Lake Chiemsee.

I live in the same building and am happy to be there for my guests in person – whether they have questions, need tips on excursions, or have individual requests. A friendly conversation, good advice, or a smile – for me, that's simply part of genuine hospitality.

In the summer of 2024, the “Lieblingseck” was certified by Viabono, Germany's leading professional organization for sustainable travel. This makes the apartment one of the top 50 sustainable accommodations in Germany. With CO₂ emissions of only 0.7 kg per overnight stay, it falls five times below the certification requirements – and already meets the German government's climate targets for 2045.

Arrival Description

Directions to the vacation home Lieblingseck in Gstadt am Chiemsee

You can reach our luxuriously furnished 5-star vacation apartment Lieblingseck by car via the A8 Munich/Salzburg exit Prien am Chiemsee or Frasdorf.
In both cases, drive via Prien and Breitbrunn to Gstadt am Chiemsee.
Waldstraße is the second street on the left after the town sign.
Our apartment Lieblingseck is the second, dark-paneled house on the right, slightly to the rear with the house number 2a.

The Rosi-Bus is the individually bookable, inexpensive transportation option around the Chiemsee and into the Bavarian Alps. The trip can be booked in advance using the app or by calling 08031 - 400700. This also makes it easy to organize your journey from Prien or Bad Endorf station in advance. The Rosi bus stop "1609" is only 15 meters away from our vacation apartment and can therefore be easily used for excursions or restaurant visits.

By train - Prien and Bad Endorf are connected to the international rail network and are only 10 minutes away from our vacation home on Lake Chiemsee.
Tip: Here you can also send your own bike to us in advance.

Salzburg Airport is only about 45 minutes and Munich Airport about 70 minutes away from Gstadt am Chiemsee.
