The "Gipfelstürmer" is the ideal starting point to spend an unforgettable vacation in the mountaineering village of Schleching. Idyllic hiking trails lead directly from the accommodation to the famous Schmugglerweg trail or up the imposing local mountain, the Geigelstein. This offers magnificent views over the Chiemgau Alps all the way to the Großglockner.For beginners, the Hochplatten chairlift is a wonderful way to enjoy the Chiemgau.Lake Zell is ideal for swimming and can be reached by bike in just a few minutes. There are also wonderful cycling tours along the Tiroler Ache river, which is also ideal for Kneipp bathing, swimming or rafting. Numerous beer gardens and alpine huts, which are open in summer, offer a wide range of places to stop for refreshments and enjoy home-made products. Our diverse cultural landscape also offers numerous activities in the cold season. Whether cross-country skiing, tobogganing or a relaxed winter hike. For active sports enthusiasts, the nearby ski slopes are within easy reach.

Arrival Description
You can reach Ettenhausen by car via the A8 Munich/Salzburg, exit Bernau, or A8 Salzburg/Munich via the Grabenstätt exit. Follow the road towards Marquartstein. Turn onto the B307, which will take you directly to Schleching. Continue towards Kössen, turn right towards Ettenhausen and follow Schlechinger Straße diagonally to the left. Continue into Geigelsteinstraße. The accommodation is located on the right-hand side.
