Description

A modern but at the same time rustic interior in a rural, Bavarian style awaits you. The Stierschneiderhof offers space for up to 8 guests: with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 1 small room with washing machine, a living room with fireplace, a kitchen with dining area and two balconies with mountain views. In the old threshing floor with about 300 square metres, the outdoor living room awaits you with a cosy sofa, a fridge for drinks, as well as games such as billiards, table football and darts. You can also store bicycles, sledges, skis, etc. in the barn. In the spacious garden with sunbathing lawn and comfortable garden loungers, as well as a large terrace with outdoor seating and a fireplace for barbecues and campfires, you can enjoy beautiful summer days.

Environment description

Numerous mountain bike and hiking tours can be started from the front door. The quietly located Wössner Lake with its excellent restaurant invites you to swim in summer and enjoy the beautiful summer days. From your holiday flat, Lake Wössner can be reached in five minutes by bike or in 15 minutes on foot. The Bavarian sea, the Chiemsee, can be reached in 15 minutes by car or in about 60 minutes by bike. For winter sports enthusiasts, the extensive cross-country ski trails in Unterwössen can be reached in five to ten minutes. The Reit im Winkl, Winklmoos-Steinplatte and Hochkössen ski areas are only a few kilometres away. Further afield you will find great destinations such as thermal spas or adventure pools to relax or have fun with the whole family. Fairytale/adventure parks in Marquartstein and Ruhpolding, Herrenchiemsee Castle, Fraueninsel, the salt mine and numerous small museums round off the excursion options. For guests who want to fly high, Unterwössen offers sightseeing flights at the Unterwössen glider airfield.

About the host

The main building of the Stierschneiderhof was built in the middle of the 19th century. It retains this original Bavarian charm of the long ago century to this day. After about three years of renovation, the old farmhouse now shines in new splendour.

The prices quoted do not include the visitor's tax of EUR 2.00 per person/night for adults aged 16 and over. Children from 6 to 15 years: EUR 1.00, children from 0 to 5 years are free of charge.

Arrival Description

Take the B305 through Unterwössen and turn left into Hadergasse after the Agip petrol station. After approx. 150 metres you will reach your holiday home on the left-hand side.
