Description

Beautifully and sophisticatedly furnished holiday home with an unobstructed view of the Balsberg in Unterwössen invites you to a relaxing holiday. The house offers enough space for up to 6 people with 3 or 4 bedrooms (2 with balcony access), 2 bathrooms with shower/WC (1 rain shower) (level access shower) on the upper floor and a large living room with cosy Bavarian seating area and kitchen as well as a guest WC on the ground floor. The high-quality furnished terrace and the large garden invite you to linger with table and chairs, parasol and 2 comfortable loungers. A barbecue (WEBER gas barbecue) is available for cosy barbecue evenings. A table tennis table provides variety. A garage is available for one car. Two more cars can be parked comfortably on the driveway. The house is a complete non-smoking house, you are welcome to smoke on the terrace. Please leave pets to be cared for at home. Our guests can use the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool and the Walchsee lido.

Environment description

Directly from the house you can watch the hang gliders of the South German Paragliding School on the Balsberg, as well as the gliders of the German Alpine Gliding School in Unterwössen, which is not far away. It is located in the middle of a hiker's paradise and Lake Chiemsee, only 20 km away, offers everything a water sports enthusiast's heart could desire. Lake Wössner, which is within walking distance, also offers wonderful refreshment on hot summer days. In winter, cross-country skiing trails are groomed directly in front of the house, weather permitting, and for alpine skiers, the gondola to the Steinplatte ski paradise in Reit im Winkl is only 15 km away and easily accessible by car. The skiing area of Kitzbühel is also only 40 minutes away by car, as is Salzburg Airport. Summer toboggan run, climbing garden and many other excursion destinations are easily accessible by car.

Arrival Description

By car to Reit im Winkl: Coming from Munich on the A 8, take the Bernau exit. From there take the Bundesstraße 305 (German Alpine Road) to Unterwössen (14 km). In Unterwössen turn right at the church into Alte Dorfstraße and after approx. 400 metres keep left and continue on Burgweg. Pass the fire station and after the big bump turn left into Garbmühlstraße. After approx. 300 metres, turn right into Theilleitenweg. You will find your host on the left-hand side at house no. 7. The Inntal motorway offers an alternative. Turn off shortly before Rosenheim at the Inntaldreieck and drive to the Oberaudorf exit. From there, take the Austrian federal road 172 to Reit im Winkl on the B 305 to Unterwössen. Coming from Salzburg, take the motorway (A 8) to the Übersee exit and continue via Marquartstein to Unterwössen. By train to Unterwössen: The nearest train station is in Prien am Chiemsee. From here you have the best bus connections (RVO bus line 9505) to Unterwössen / Reit im Winkl. By plane: Munich airport is approx. 140 km and Salzburg airport approx. 70 km from Reit im Winkl.
