Description
Our farm is decorated with beautiful flowers and has a large garden. The cycle paths lead directly past the house. Of course, bicycles are also available for you. So that you know where to go, we will gladly give you cycling maps to discover and explore the most beautiful spots with us. Your children are welcome to go into the stable to feed or stroke calves, rabbits, cats, chickens and ducks. Barbecue area, bread roll service and table tennis are also part of our services to offer you an unforgettable holiday.
Environment description
Staudach-Egerndach is located in a very charming location in the valley of the Tyrolean Ache, south of Lake Chiemsee. Not far from the metropolises of Munich (90km), Salzburg (50km), Innsbruck (115km). Smaller towns such as Traunstein (20km), Rosenheim (40km). Staudach-Egerndach is also an ideal starting point for many excursions. Directly at the foot of the Chiemgau mountains, where the valley opens up to the north and the wide expanses of the Kendlmühl Filzen, Egerndacher-Filzen and the Cheimsee merge, the village lies directly below the Hochgerns.Es there are countless hiking and cycling trails of all categories or on mountain tours over the alpine pastures and sunny peaks. Water sports are possible on the Chiemsee or the Tiroler Ache. The Achental is a pioneer region of flying and offers ideal opportunities for hang-gliders and paragliders. In addition to classic gliding, the German Alpine Gliding School DASSU Unterwössen also offers sightseeing flights for guests.
About the host
On our family farm we have a large cozy 4 star apartment. We have a grassland farm with dairy cows, with our own offspring. In addition to the cows and calves, we also have chickens and fattening chickens, pigs, cats. Its own schnapps distillery, where fruit is distilled into noble brandies and liqueurs. Our home-made products, schnapps, milk, eggs, meat, jams. Cheese.... can be purchased in the Wilde Kuh farm shop. He is very much appreciated by the guests. They are welcome to help Wasdl Jr. with cheesemaking.
