Description

Beautiful farm in a quiet location, many petting animals on the farm, children's equipment, farm produce, washing machine, bicycles, barbecue area, cosy holiday flat in country style with separate bedroom, fitted kitchen with dishwasher. The mountaineering villages Schleching and Sachrang are deeply embedded in the Chiemgau Alps, south of Lake Chiemsee. The mountaineering villages are surrounded by a lovely pre-Alpine landscape with lush meadows, forested pre-Alpine peaks and the typical rugged peaks of the Northern Limestone Alps. The connecting element of both places is the most famous mountain of the Chiemgau: the Geigelstein (1,808m). The area around the Geigelstein is considered a particularly valuable mountain region of the Bavarian Alps due to its high biodiversity. The nature reserve of the same name was therefore established as early as 1991.
