Description

Deep in the north of Bavaria- in the Franconian forest Nature Park- one can find the Schlossberg farm (620 m NN). In idyllic seclusion, surrounded by forests and meadows, our farm has operated as an agricultural establishment for generations. Its roots date back all the way to the 13th Century. Once located here was a manor house for the “Orlamünder” family, a fortress of the Schlossberg.

In the year 1995 one side of the farmhouse was developed into a “Holiday Farmhouse”. You will be accommodated in our comfortable holiday home that has been decorated and furnished in an upscale rustic style, and awarded Four Stars according to the DTV guidelines.

The quiet location of the Schlossberg Farm gives it a special touch.
There is no through traffic to bother us.
Enjoy the feeling of the “older days” without compromising on modern day comforts.

Here you´ll find a park-like setting with a barbecue, wood oven and a fireplace along with table tennis and table football. The farm animals, the petting zoo and the fish ponds are all within and amongst the natural landscape.

Wander through the beautiful nature of the Franconian Forest or visit the sights nearby. Make use of the offer of a “Herb and Wildlife tour” through the woods and meadows. Our young guests can enjoy visiting the play area, the petting zoo and the many forests and fields in the vicinity.

Recharge your batteries and return to your everyday life fully fit and ready to go -
that is most definitely possible with us in the Franconian Forest.

Enjoy all the amenities on offer and regain a new vigour. A stint in the fitness centre, the sauna area or the lawn overlooking “die Radspitze” (678 m NN) rounds out the offers. Our cosy home-library with around 4000 books invites you browse and relax. No matter whether you wish to enjoy a couple of relaxing days or prefer an active and exciting holiday, with us you can expect a comfortable living area and a feel-good spirit on your stay.

On the Schlossberghof you can find 4 different apartments, providing space for up to 6 persons. Also larger groups (up to 20 persons) can easily be hosted on the entire facility.

Conditions/extras

We ask for 40% advance payment.
Cancellation, up 14 days before arrival, is charged with 40% of the total costs. Total costs are charged in the case of later cancellation.
Payment in cash or via bank transfer.
We recommend to negotiate a travel cancellation insurance.
