In the Weserbergland, at the gates of the Pied Piper town of Hamelin and not far from Hanover, stands the magnificent Renaissance estate, built in 1570 by an ancestor of the famous baron of lies, surrounded by moats in the middle of a well-tended landscaped garden. Behind the 440-year-old castle walls lies a charming five-star hotel with 67 stylish and individually furnished suites and rooms and 12 varied conference and event rooms.
The gastronomic offer in two restaurants (Schlosskeller-Restaurant and the star-crowned gourmet restaurant HILMAR), the castle bar “SCHWÖBBAR”, the Knights' Hall and on the sun terraces offers culinary variety.
12 varied conference and event rooms in the castle, the Zehntscheune conference center and the castle park provide a stylish setting for your event. Creative outdoor team or incentive programs as well as the personal and friendly support of our team will enrich your event.
Another highlight is the light-flooded, 800 m² wellness area with 18 m indoor pool, Finnish sauna, sanarium with lift light, 2 steam baths, Salina Lounge with MICROSALT, InfraPLUSSeats, cooling and experience showers, Polaris ice fountain, relaxation rooms and a beautiful outdoor area with floating loungers.

Directions
Schlosshotel Münchhausen is located in the middle of the Weser Highlands, closeby Hamelin and Bad Pyrmont, less than an hour away from Detmold, Bad Salzuflen, Bad Oeynhausen or Hannover Airport. You can easily reach us by plane, car, train, taxi or even helicopter.
From West or North West:
Highway A44 from Dortmund direction Paderborn passing Autobahnkreuz Wünnenberg-Haren onto A33 until exit Paderborn-Elsen. B1 direction Hameln; passing Blomberg until Aerzen. At the traffic light left and then right direction Königsförde. At the crossing left. You find Schlosshotel Münchhausen and the golf course on the left side.
Or: Highway A2 passing Bielefeld or A30 from Osnabrück passing Bad Oeynhausen direction Hannover A2 until exit Bad Eilsen; B83 to Hameln, then B1 direction Paderborn until Aerzen-Groß-Berkel; turn right there direction Königsförde/Grupenhagen/Bösingfeld. Behind Königsförde, after approximately 2 km, you will see Schlosshotel Münchhausen and the golf course on the left side.
From South:
A44 Kassel-Dortmund, exit Warburg; B252 passing Brakel to Blomberg. In Blomberg B1 direction Hameln until Aerzen. At the traffic light left and then right direction Königsförde. At the crossing left. You find Schlosshotel Münchhausen and the golf course on the left side.
From North and from Berlin:
A2 Hannover-Dortmund, exit Rehren, left passing Rehren direction Hessisch-Oldendorf/Hameln; B83 to Hameln, then B1 direction Paderborn until Aerzen-Groß-Berkel; turn right there direction Königsförde/Grupenhagen/Bösingfeld. Behind Königsförde, after approximately 2 km, you will see Schlosshotel Münchhausen and the golf course on the left side.
