In the ZOLLVEREIN® Memorial Trail, visitors follow the "Coal Trail" at an authentic location and gain insights into the history of mining, the working day of yesteryear and the transformation into a symbol of structural change.

Duration: approx. 2 hours

Meeting point: 20 minutes before the tour starts at the Ruhr Visitorcenter Essen, Area A [Schacht XII], Kohlenwäsche [A14].

Please note: sturdy shoes and weatherproof clothing are strongly recommended. The monument path ZOLLVEREIN® is not barrier-free.
