The nearest train station is also in Bad Endorf on the train route Munich - Salzburg. Hikes, for example to the Ratzinger Höhe with a view of the Chiemsee, or bicycle tours in the surrounding area are possible at any time. Many other leisure activities such as the 18 hole golf course in Höslwang or Prien, the opera festival Immling , the old town of Wasserburg, a visit to Salzburg or one of the numerous mountain railroads are there to experience. The Bavarian Sea (as the Chiemsee is called) can be reached in 15 minutes by car and offers with the Herreninsel with Herrenchiemsee Castle and the Fraueninsel with monastery further excursion destinations.
