Description

The house is located about 300 m from the Chiemgau thermal baths in a quiet location between the spa gardens and landscape conservation area. Ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours in the surrounding area (one of the oldest nature reserves in Bavaria) or visit our Chiemgau Thermen. There are numerous leisure activities, e.g. the 18-hole golf course in Höslwang or Prien, or the Immling Festival with its annual opera performances. Swim, sail or surf at the most beautiful natural lakes in Bavaria, e.g.: the Simssee, Chiemsee or a lake of the Eggstätt-Hemhofer Seenplatte. Enjoy the mountains very close and take advantage of guided hikes to learn a lot about mountain life. Make a side trip to Wasserburg (the small Venice of Bavaria), or to Rosenheim on a shopping tour.

Arrival Description

Freeway Munich - Salzburg, exit Rosenheim always in the direction of Traunstein, in Bad Endorf directly at the bottom of the hill turn right into Kurfer Straße (at the sign - Bauhof/ Wertstoffhof). Then drive straight ahead for about 400 m until you reach Haus Schauer. Freeway Salzburg - Munich, exit Bernau, via Prien and Rimsting to Bad Endor. Go through Bad Endorf in the direction of Rosenheim, at the end of the village turn left into Kurfer Straße (at the sign - Bauhof/ Wertstoffhof), follow this street for about 400 m. Train: Munich - Salzburg line, Bad Endorf station. Train pick-up by arrangement. Footpath 20-25 minutes: turn left to the Bauernwirt, turn right around the inn and follow the Jahnstraße to the end. Cross the intersection straight ahead and follow Klinikstraße to the end. Then turn left and follow the street to the end, then turn left into Kurferstraße. After about 40 m you will see Haus Schauer on the left.
