At Meissen, manufacturing is alive and well. Anyone who visits the city on the Elbe can see for themselves in the Meissen adventure world. Immerse yourself in the world of Meissen porcelain - discover Meissen with all your senses.
In the demonstration workshop you can experience first hand how new designs are created using the finest craftsmanship. You can find out everything about more than 300 years of manufacturing history and Europe's first trademark - the crossed swords - in the museum. Become an artist yourself and design your personal, unique piece of Meissen porcelain in our workshops or discover the production areas "behind the scenes" on the ManufakTOUR.
In Café Meissen you can enjoy modern and regional cuisine served on our wonderful porcelain.
In the Meissen Store you will find inspiration and products to suit your individual lifestyle. Tours, events, holiday activities and exciting exhibitions invite you to discover and experience all year round.

Entry to the Meissen adventure world included:

Tour of the show workshop with audio guide and individual visit to the Meissen Porcelain Foundation museum including a special exhibition.
Tours with an audio guide are available in 14 languages and are included in the admission price: Chinese, Danish, German, English, Finnish, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Swedish, Spanish and Czech.
The language can be selected on site.
The tour of the demonstration workshop takes approx. 30 minutes. We recommend planning around 2 hours for the visit.

Please show your voucher at the museum ticket office on site to exchange your tickets.

Meissen Adventure World: daily Mon - Sun, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m
Café Meissen: daily, Mon - Sun, 11 a.m. - 4:31 p.m. December & January 1st, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m
Closing days: December 24th, 25th and 26th

Visit to the show workshop and museum:
There is an elevator in the building that leads to the museum on the 1st and 2nd floors, which can therefore be visited barrier-free.
The tour of the show workshop is also barrier-free.
