In Markkleeberg near Leipzig it will not be gloomy and dark this winter, because the Christmas Garden brings - actually and also figuratively - light into the dark season.

The Christmas Garden Leipzig is a wintry oasis where friends, couples and the whole family can spend an evening in an atmospheric setting. The Christmas Garden is a two-kilometer-long circular path through the agra-Park Markkleeberg with glittering illuminations that transport visitors into a magical Christmas world.

The Christmas Garden is now coming to the popular agra-Park Markkleeberg as an excursion destination, inviting visitors to enjoy the most festive time of the year at their leisure. A visit to the Christmas Garden is an experience that offers everything for adults and children to make shared moments unforgettable.

Children from 0 till 14 years. Admission only in the company of an adult.
Children (under the age of 6) have free access to the Christmas Garden. The children receive, however, a free-of-charge ticket so that the precise number of visitors can be checked. Free tickets can be added to the shopping cart during the ordering process. 

Discounts only for pupils, students, senior citizens from 65 years. Discount will be granted upon presentation of an ID. 

families up to 5 persons:
a) 2 adults and up to 3 children aged 6 till 14 years
b) 1 adult and up to 4 children aged 6 till 14 years 

We kindly ask for your understanding that dogs (including on a leash) and other animals are not admitted to the Christmas Garden. 

personal admission time

In order to give you the most atmospheric experience possible, admission is limited to visitors per 30 minutes . There will be an admission time on your ticket. Please pass through the entrance during the half hour indicated.

example: If you purchased a ticket for 5:30pm, then you can arrive for admission between 5:30pm and 6:00pm. Of course you can stay longer than 30 minutes in the Christmas Garden.

opening hours

The Christmas Garden Leipzig will be open from November 26, 2024 to January 05, 2025 from 16:30.

• Monday to Thursday, Sunday: last admission at 20:00, closing time at 21:00.
• Friday and Saturday & 20.12.-01.01.: last admission at 20:30, closing time at 21:30

The Christmas Garden will be closed on the following days: December 02/09/24/31.
