The following applies from July 1, 2023:
In principle, all adults who stay in hotels, inns or boarding houses, holiday accommodation or similar accommodation facilities as well as on campsites as well as on campsites in Dresden are subject to the lodging tax, unless there is an exceptional tax exemption.
The lodging tax is six percent of the room rate including sales tax and is payable on departure at the lodging facility.

Cancellation / payment conditions

Payment terms: 
Please pay the agreed total price in cash upon arrival. Credit card or EC card payments are not possible.  Cancellation policy: 
Cancellations are free of charge up to 21 days before arrival. 
Up to 14 days before arrival we charge you 50%, 
up to 3 days before arrival 80% 
and less than 3 days before arrival 90% of the agreed total price. 

If you do not arrive, we also charge 90% of the agreed total price.

Dresden ist eine tolle Stadt und auch noch eine 2. Kurzreise wert. Für eine 3 Tagesreise reicht eine einfache Ferienwohnung -wie die von mir gebuchte, sehr preisgünstige- völlig aus.
