Short Characteristics
The modern hotel is with its interesting architecture centrally located in the immediate vicinity of historical city center. The 244 rooms are equipped with bathtub, shower/ WC, hair-dryer, minibar, radio, cable- and pay-TV, direct-line telephone and fax-connection
There are standard and comfort rooms available. The restaurant serves regional and international cuisine. The hotel also has a bar, wellness area with gym, swimming pool, solarium, 2 saunas , jacuzzi, underground garage and conference facilities and separate banquet rooms for up to 300 people available. Jogging/runing is possible in the park "Großer Garten" (approx. 300m).
Dear guests,
due to beautification and renovation work, our leisure area is expected to be closed until the beginning of November. After the reopening our guests can expect a newly designed leisure area with pool and sauna.
In addition, we are gradually modernizing our hotel rooms and bathrooms, as well as from January 2019, the public areas, the hotel lobby, our restaurants and the bar. From the end of April 2019, a completely redesigned Dorint Hotel Dresden awaits you.

From the west: via the A4 coming from Chemnitz: at the Dresden West interchange, change to the A17 towards Prague until the Dresden Südvorstadt/Zentrum exit - turn left onto the B170 Dresden/Zentrum - continue straight on the B170 until you reach Pirnaischer Platz, then follow the signs for Gruna/Gläserne Manufaktur - turn right there - our building is 200m further on.
From the north: via the A13 coming from Berlin, change to the A4 towards Dresden/Frankfurt, until the Dresden Hellerau exit, turn right onto the B170 to Neustadt train station towards the city center/Hansastraße, turn right onto the B6, continue straight across the Marienbrücke bridge,
turn left onto Freibergerstraße, continue straight towards the Transparent Factory - our building will be on your right.

* Directions from the airport: From the airport, take the S2 train to Dresden Mitte station, then tram line 1 (towards Prohlis) or line 2 (towards Kleinzschachwitz) to the "Deutsches Hygiene-Museum" stop.
* Directions by train: From the main train station: take tram line 3 (towards Wilder Mann) or 7 (towards Weixdorf) to the "Postplatz" stop, then transfer to tram line 1, 2, 4, or 12 to the "Deutsches Hygiene-Museum" stop. Hygiene Museum

There is a public underground parking garage at the hotel for €24.00 per day or a public parking lot behind the hotel for €7.00 per day. Reservations are not possible.
