Welcome to the Saxon state capital!
The largest youth hostel in Saxony is located in a prime city location and just a few minutes from the historic city center. Scene life and cultural enjoyment, a barrier-free swimming pool right next door, shopping, artistic journeys of discovery, top events or just a stroll through Florence on the Elbe - all of this is possible in and around the Dresden Youth Guest House.
Food & drink
Our chefs like to think outside the box and are dedicated to ensuring your culinary well-being. A sumptuous and healthy breakfast buffet or a balanced
lunch/dinner contribute to a relaxing stay in our hostel. Let us know your preferences in advance so that we can fulfill your individual food wishes. And if
you feel hungry or thirsty outside of our meal times, you are welcome to use our well-stocked snack and drink machines in the lobby.
Useful informations:
In the immediate vicinity there is a pharmacy, various shops (bakery, supermarket, press and tobacco shop, etc.) as well as a large public swimming
complex. A medical supply store and a doctor and hospital can be found in the surrounding area. The baroque city center and several shopping opportunities can be reached on foot in just 10 minutes or are only two tram stops away.

Check in / Check out
Arrival & departure:
Our rooms are usually ready for occupancy from 4 p.m. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to leave your bags and suitcases in our luggage room free of charge.
If you arrive by plane, you can take the S-Bahn line S 2 from the airport directly to the "Freiberger Straße stop". Our hostel is about 300 meters away, directly behind the World Trade Center in front of you.
If you arrive by train, then from the "Dresden Hauptbahnhof" stop take tram lines 7 (towards Pennrich) or 10 (towards Messe) two stops, also to the "Freiberger Straße stop", and walk the last few meters from there .
By car or bus it is best to take the A 4 motorway exit "Dresden Altstadt" and drive towards the city center.
Our hostel is then signposted.
On the day of departure you have until 10 a.m. to leave the room. Please remove the bed linen and dispose of the rubbish in the designated rooms.

When booking package tours, the General Terms and Conditions of Dresden Information GmbH apply-specifically Section II (General Terms and Conditions for Package Tours) - which can be viewed and downloaded at http://www.dresden.de/media/tourismus/pdf/AGB_DIG_komplett_062019.pdf.
In the event of cancellation by the guest, components of the package-such as tickets or services provided by external organizers or service providers-cannot be cancelled free of charge. An additional processing fee will also be charged.
