Short Characteristics

The little guest house is situated in a reconstructed hous in the district Dresden-Kleinzschachwitz near the Pillnitz Palace. With public transportation you can reach the historic Old Town of Dresden within 30 minutes. The guest house very well suted for tourists, business travellers and small groups. Individually furnished rooms with shower, WC, TV and free WLAN awaits you.
There is a free parking area for our guests directly in the centre of Dresden at the Zwinger.

Departure: until 11 a.m.

Anreisebeschreibung

* Arrival by car: Motorway A 17 - take the exit Dresden - Heidenau, continue towards the city centre and turn left into Dohnaer Straße, at the next traffic lights turn right into Lockwitztalstraße, continue in the direction of Niedersedlitz following the Bahnhofstraße until the crossing Meußlitzer Straße, turn left and follow the street until the crossing Berthold-Haupt-Straße, turn right and follow the street until you reach the corner of Hosterwitzer Straße (guest house).

* From the airport: take the train ('S-Bahn') to the main station ('Dresden Hauptbahnhof').

* From the main station: take tram no. 3 (direction Wilder Mann) to the stop "Pirnaischer Platz" (2 stops) change to tram no. 2 (direction Kleinzschachwitz) and get off at the terminus (guest house).

* By bike: follow the Elbe Cycle Route (left side of the river Elbe) and turn into the Hosterwitzer Straße at Schloss Pillnitz. Follow the street until you reach the corner of the Berthold-Haupt-Straße (guest house).

Abgesehen von der Baustelle vorm Haus ist alles zufrieden stellend. Nur genau aufpassen, den Frühstückszettel auszufüllen, wer's übersieht, hat dann kein Frühstück! Ansonsten 👍🍃

Auch hatte ein Ehepaar vergessen, den Frühstückszettel auszufüllen,,,, irgendwie ging kein Weg hinein, denen dennoch was zusammen zu stellen, ein Brötchen bleibt doch immer mal wo übrig, Marmelade, Butter,,, Kaffee sowieso,,, NEIN, die Beiden mussten es akzeptieren, und woanders hingehen zum Frühstück....👎🍃

Die Pension liegt in einem grünen Stadtteil von Dresden, mit günstiger Anbindung an Pillnitz und an das Stadtzentrum. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, der Service ist gut und freundlich, es gibt ein gutes Frühstück.

Which negative Impressions did you get?

Die Pension liegt unmittelbar an der Endhaltestelle der Strassenbahn. Wir hatten ein sehr kleines 2 -Bettzimmer, ein ebenso kleines Badezimmer/Dusche. Im Bad war keinerlei Stauraum (kleines Wandregal o.ä.), es gab nur eine schmale Konsole über dem Waschbecken. Die Absauganlage im Bad war sehr laut, unzumutbar - ebenso das Heizgerät unter dem Waschbecken.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Elberadtouren. Das Pensionszimmer/ Frühstück war in Ordnung. In der Nähe Restaurants/ Biergärten für jeden Geldbeutel.

Which negative Impressions did you get?

Zu wenig Abstellmöglichkeiten für Fahrräder. Kein direkter Parkplatz vor der Pension....., parken im öffentlicher Verkehrsraum!!!! Nächtliche Ruhe arg gestört, durch Straßenbahnlärm (Wendeschleife) bei offenen Fenster!!!!
