2. Panometer:
In the 360° panorama GREAT BARRIER REEF - Wonderworld of the Coral Reef, visitors discover the unique underwater world of the coral reef off the northeast coast of Australia. The motivation for the project lay in the fascination with the diversity and fragile complexity existing beneath the water's surface, a habitat imperceptible at first glance. Visitors must go underwater and dive to gain a glimpse of this diversity and uniqueness.
The panorama reveals the submarine world as if from a vantage point below sea level. In color gradients of blue, azure, and green, the refraction of light in the ocean illuminates the strange world of corals and marine animals, especially near the water's surface, in the panoramic image. The art space compresses an area half the size of France. Interwoven within it are prototypical natural spaces that do not exist side by side in the real world, but are located far away or at different water depths.
