Discover the Saxon Wine Route on a paddle steamer tour. Your trip begins at the Terrassenufer in Dresden's Old Town and then travels through the heart of Saxony's famous wine-growing region on the Elbe River.
Your cruise will pass Radebeul and Meissen - visit the famous Meissen Cathedral and the magnificent Albrechtsburg Castle when you stop your cruise in Meissen. Around noon, you will reach the charming wine villages of Diesbar and Seusslitz. After a short stop in each village, the steamer will return to Dresden.

station Dresden Terrassenufer
Your trip starts at the piers 1-7 of the White Fleet Saxony directly in the Old Town of Dresden between Augustus Bridge and Carola Bridge.
At the piers all trips will be shown on displays - there you will also find out exactly at which pier your boat trip starts.
The boarding starts 15 minutes before the departure of the ship with free choice of seats on board.

station Radebeul

The station Radebeul is located directly below the restaurant "Dampfschiff" (downstream right) - the small town is located on the Saxon Wine Route between vineyards just outside Dresden. Here, a visit to the Karl May Museum (Karl-May-Strasse 5), the last home of the writer, is worthwhile. Explore the historic center of Alt-Kötzschenbroda with small stores and vineyards in romantic courtyards. The famous Wackerbarth Castle is also within easy walking distance.

station Meissen
The station Meißen is located directly at the large visitor parking lot of the city (Hochuferstraße, downstream left) directly below the Albrechtsburg.
Even from a distance you will discover the silhouette of the city - it is picturesquely surrounded by hills in the Elbe valley and is dominated by the castle hill. Stroll through the 1000-year-old old town with its town houses, its staircases, portals, narrow streets and historic wine taverns.
Among the famous Meissen sights are the Franciscan Church (now a city museum), the Church of Our Lady with the world's first built-in carillon made of Meissen porcelain (1929), the Burgberg with Albrechtsburg Castle and the cathedral.

station Diesbar

The station Diesbar (downstream right) belongs to a small romantic wine village along the Saxon Wine Route.
The area around Diesbar is an insider tip for excursionists who like peace and tranquility during their excursions. Wine hills are harmoniously blended with forests and meadows, and the Elbe River flows here in a large arc through the middle of the landscape. They say that spring comes a little earlier, and autumn lasts longer.

station Seußlitz
The Seußlitz station (downstream on the right) is located below Lehmann's Weinstuben and marks the end of the sailing area of the Saxon Steamship Company - and the beginning of the Saxon Wine Route upstream.
The wide Elbe valley invites you to explore and linger: Take a walk through the vineyards or a bike tour on the Elbe Cycle Path. Numerous wine taverns are ready for a stop.
