Discover the diversity of one of the most beautiful national parks in the world on a relaxed half-day excursion to the Bastei area. Before heading to Saxon Switzerland, the comfortable coach reaches the fairy-tale Pillnitz palace complex, the former summer residence of the Saxon kings, after around 30 minutes. In this extraordinary ensemble of architecture and garden art, an exciting guided tour of the palace gardens and fantastic photo opportunities await you.
Your guide will give you information while you continue through the impressive landscapes of the Elbe Valley and Saxon Switzerlandalready about the peculiarities of the flora and fauna and the history of the national park. Well informed, you will then reach the core zone of Saxon Switzerland - one of the most beautiful and spectacular landscapes in Europe.
Your guide takes you on a one-hour tour of the Bastei bridge and opens your eyes to the special features of the landscape. Discover unique motifs along the most beautiful viewpoints and discover the special magic of this romantic rocky landscape.
An hour of free time is planned after the tour for your own exploration tour or for a snack.
On the way back, review your impressions and be back in Dresden around 3:30 p.m.
