Description

The spacious rooms are located on the estate and in the center of the historic wine village of Oberstockstall, amidst the rolling hills of the Wagram wine-growing region, about 60km northwest of Vienna. Gut Oberstockstall combines a rural, family atmosphere with a high level of service. The rooms in the historic walls are equipped with all amenities and were newly opened in spring 2014.

The five bright gourmet rooms are simply and elegantly furnished with high-quality natural materials. Three of them open onto the historic courtyard with a view of the chapel and a huge old walnut tree. Two others face south with a view of the hotel's own fruit and vegetable gardens. The five rooms are named after the historic vineyards where the Salomon winery's Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Chardonnay are grown: Brunnberg, Maulbeerpark, Tobel, Schlossberg and Kirchenberg. The furnishings combine baroque style with modern simplicity. Start the day with a hearty breakfast made exclusively from high-quality organic produce.

Tastings of the hotel's own wines are offered regularly in the new vinotheque. And the Gut Oberstockstall restaurant, which is located on the estate and is renowned among gourmets for its award-winning cuisine, is happy to take care of your physical well-being.
