With the oldest suspension railway in the world to the Loschwitz heights:
For more than 100 years, the cable car and funicular have shaped the picturesque Loschwitz Elbhang. The valley station of the Dresden suspension railway is in the immediate vicinity of our Blaues Wunder / Grundstrasse stop. After a route of 274 meters you reach the 84 meter higher viewing platform (note: not barrier-free) on the Loschwitzhöhe in Oberloschwitz.
The mountain station offers you the most beautiful panoramic view of the Dresden Elbe Valley and has interesting exhibitions on the operation of the railways for young and old technology fans.
You are welcome to start with the "Big City Tour", because it is a combination ticket:
Dresden - a triad of nature, architecture and culture rightly bears the nickname Florence on the Elbe. Idyllically situated on the Elbe, framed in the south-east by the bizarrely romantic cliffs of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, in the south the foothills of the Ore Mountains extend and in the north and west the pond and heath landscape around Moritzburg or the vineyards of the Elbe region. Discover Dresden in comfort with our double-decker buses. We drive you to all the highlights of the city.
You can hop on and off at 22 stops and explore the city according to your own interests and pace. The buses run 365 days a year according to the timetable and the stops are stopped at regular intervals. So you usually only wait a few minutes before you can continue your tour.
