Information

Dresden by Lantern Light - out and about with the mysterious night watchman

Experience Dresden by lantern light and accompany the mysterious night watchman on his evening tour through the old town.

When darkness falls, it's time for the night watchman to begin his rounds. His horn echoes through the maze of narrow alleys, the light from his lantern piercing the darkness. With his halberd, he protects respectable citizens from robbers and riffraff, even in the darkest corners.

At twilight, you'll be entertained by eerie stories and spicy anecdotes from many centuries in the heart of Dresden's historic old town: a perfect way to end your day, and a true Dresden highlight!
