The Big Discoverer Tour combines the Big Sightseeing Tour by bus with a steamboat trip along the silhouette of the Old Town to the Blue Wonder bridge in Blasewitz. Walk across Dresden´s favourite bridge, then take the Cable Car or the Suspension Railway to Oberloschwitz, where you can admire a glorious panoramic view of Dresden. The double-decker bus departs from our Stop „Blaues Wunder / Grundstrasse" for the Big Sightseeing Tour.
schedule:
- meeting 30 mins. prior to departure at our Stop Zwinger / Postplatz
- You will receive the original tickets for the bus, Elbe paddle steamboat and cable railway.
- Boat descent from Terrassenufer to Blaues Wunder approx. 50 mins.
- 3 mins. footpath from Stop „Blaues Wunder / Grundstrasse" to suspension railway bottom station
- Ride with the Suspension Railway (optionally with Cable Car): one way 10 mins.
- Top station - viewing platform with café and panoramic view, Suspension Railway Museum
- After the ride back down you can take a stroll through the neighbourhood of Loschwitz
- Big Sightseeing Tour departs at Stop „Blaues Wunder / Grundstrasse" (last bus: 5:55 p.m.)
- Tip: Visit Pfunds Molkerei (Pfunds Dairy) - use your unlimited hop-on, hop-off access
