Description
The Old Mausoleum, designed by Moller in 1826 and expanded in 1869–70, together with the New Mausoleum, built between 1905 and 1910, and the open graves adjacent to it, defines Rosenhöhe as the grand ducal burial ground. On Open Monument Day, you will have the opportunity to explore this aspect of Rosenhöhe and take a look inside the interiors, which are magnificently adorned with mosaics, marble sarcophagi, and paintings.

Conditions/extras
The maximum group size is 15 people. An individual meeting point is possible by arrangement.
The mausoleums in Park Rosenhöhe are burial sites, and as such, they are places of quiet reverence. Visitors are expected to behave appropriately and adhere to the relevant rules. The mausoleums are not wheelchair accessible!
