Platanenhain on Mathildenhöhe – An ensemble of sculptures on the cycle of life

The tour deals with the theme of the plane tree grove as a total work of art on the theme of the cycle of life. 

The focus is on the plane tree grove as an ensemble of sculptures that represents a synthesis of the most diverse themes, religions, philosophies and cultures. The tour is intended to illustrate the grove as a place where Buddha, Krishna, Akhenaten, Goethe, Gauguin and Modersohn Becker are placed in a unique relationship to one another.
