Tour guide Matthias Lothhammer promises an exciting city tour from the former New Palace to the Darmstadt Palace Museum. On this tour, you will learn more about the grand ducal past and about the roots and cradle of Art Nouveau in Darmstadt. The New Palace played a decisive role in this. Following in the footsteps of Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig and his family, we discover the earliest artifacts of Art Nouveau that were once in the New Palace and can now be discovered in the Schlossmuseum Darmstadt. A search for traces!

Admission to the museum is EUR 3 per person. This price is only valid for groups (10 or more people). For smaller groups (up to 9 people) the regular admission price of 5,-EUR per person applies. For special openings (Tuesday to Thursday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.) outside opening hours, a minimum admission fee of EUR 40.00 applies. Without prior booking, admission must be paid directly on site!
