Grand Duchess Mathilde - From Munich to Darmstadt

As the namesake of the Darmstadt World Heritage Site, she is on everyone's lips. But who was this graceful Bavarian princess who ignored the Emperor of Brazil and the King of Naples for Hereditary Grand Duke Ludwig (III)? The tour sheds light on the life and work of the Grand Duchess and leads from the Catholic Church of St. Ludwig to the Darmstadt Palace Museum.

The maximum group size is 20 people. An individual meeting point is possible by arrangement.

Admission to the museum is EUR 3 per person. This price is only valid for groups (10 or more people). For smaller groups (up to 9 people) the regular admission price of 5,-EUR per person applies. For special openings (Tuesday to Thursday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.) outside opening hours, a minimum admission fee of EUR 40.00 applies. Without prior booking, admission must be paid directly on site!
