Stories about secret passages and caves around the Herrgottsberg
Darmstadt is...Culture

Description
Over 100 years ago, on August 13 and October 20, 1920, a team of researchers investigated underground passages and caves in the Darmstadt Forest. These actually existed. The handwritten records reveal long-forgotten secrets from earlier centuries.
During the two-hour tour, tour guide Matthias Lothhammer talks about these explorers and their research findings; about underground passages and caves, robbers and robbers' caves, forest dwellers and long-forgotten forest settlements. Historical maps can be used to locate special places, which is done interactively with the involvement of the participants.
