ESA Darmstadt - Control Center of the European Space Agency Tour of the satellite control center. The main control room and various satellite models will be visited during ongoing operations. Please note: It is possible that the main control room may not be available for viewing depending on internal circumstances. Meeting point: Visitor gate, Robert-Bosch-Straße 5 Duration: 90 minutes The maximum group size is 20 people. Participation by appointment only, minimum age 10 years. All persons aged 16 and over must carry a valid identity card! Guided tours of ESA's ESOC in Darmstadt are only possible on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays! Individual tours can be booked on Mondays at 10 am or 12 noon and on Wednesdays and Fridays at 1 pm or 3 pm. Please refrain from making requests for other days of the week or weekends. The ESOC is closed to visitors on public holidays and bridge days!

Safety instructions: The European Space Operations Center is a secure area and is under video surveillance. Large bags or rucksacks are not permitted. It is not possible to leave these at the entrance. Access is only permitted on presentation of a valid passport or identity card. Identity documents will be checked for authenticity. Driving licenses, residence permits, health insurance cards or similar will not be accepted as proof of identity. In accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act, personal data is collected and processed exclusively for a specific purpose and deleted after a certain period of time. The data is protected by technical and organizational means. Access will not be granted to persons who have not registered or have registered incorrectly. Visitor passes must be worn visibly at all times. It is not permitted to leave the group of visitors during the tour. The instructions of the security staff must be followed. The ESOC security service reserves the right to deny access to persons who behave uncooperatively or to expel them from the premises. Conditions: Guests should be dressed and equipped appropriately for the weather, as some of the tour takes place outside. The group leader will take care of the registration formalities at the gate. Please report to the visitors' gate 15 minutes before the agreed time. ESOC reserves the right to cancel the tour at any time for internal reasons. The customer is not entitled to any compensation for costs incurred as a result. Should there be any changes to the date or meeting point, please contact us on 0 61 51 - 13 45 14 (office Mon-Fri 9 am - 4 pm). If the customer cancels the tour less than 48 hours before the agreed start time, WDM GmbH will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed total price. If the cancellation is made on the day of the tour or if the person making the booking does not appear within 20 minutes of the agreed tour time, 100% of the costs will be charged. The cancellation fee is due for payment immediately to the account specified below. You can find directions to the ESOC here! Only then can we register you properly with ESOC and ensure that everything runs smoothly.  We therefore ask you to fill in the list of participants with your booking number, the date and time of your tour and the names and nationalities of the participants and send it back to us.
