Description
Tour of Mathildenhöhe with explanations of the history of the artists' colony founded in 1899.
You will get impressions of the entire ensemble: studio house, exhibition building and artists' houses. This is followed by a tour of the museum with explanations of the works, ideals and ideas of members of the artists' colony as well as the history of the four major art exhibitions between 1901 and 1914.

The maximum group size is 25 people.
A visit to the artists' houses is currently not possible.
*An individual meeting point is possible by arrangement.
Important notice: From October 1st, 2024, the meeting point for all guided tours on the Mathildenhöhe will be the north entrance of the Artists' Colony Museum Darmstadt, at Olbrichweg 13a.

The entrance fee for the museum is 3,-EUR per person. This price is only valid for groups (10 pers. and more). For smaller groups (up to 9 pers.) the regular entrance fee of 5,-EUR per person applies.
Children and teenagers (up to 18 years) as well as school classes have free admission.
Without prior booking, the entrance fee is to be paid directly on site!
