EUMETSAT - weather data for the world "made in Darmstadt" Insight behind the scenes of the European organization for the use of meteorological satellites. Using full-size satellite models, you will be given an exciting guided tour.

Duration: 90 minutes

The maximum group size is 25 persons. Participation by appointment only, minimum age 12 years. All persons 16 years and older please bring a valid identity card! Guided tours at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt are only possible on Fridays! Individual guided tours can be booked on Fridays at 11 am or 1 pm. Therefore, please refrain from requests for other weekdays or the weekends. On holidays and bridge days EUMETSAT is closed for visitors! If you arrive by car: Parking spaces are available at EUMETSAT!

Conditions: No admission is possible without registration and valid identification. We kindly ask you to inform your participants that they must identify themselves on site by means of an identity card or passport and that they are not allowed to carry large bags or backpacks. There is no possibility to leave them at the entrance. The group leader will take care of the registration formalities at the gate. Children must be at least 12 years old! We ask you to report to the visitors' gate 15 minutes (please, not earlier) before the appointed time. There is no possibility to stay on the site.

EUMETSAT reserves the right to cancel the tour at any time for internal reasons. The customer shall not be entitled to any compensation for any costs incurred as a result. Please note that it is not allowed to leave the group on the EUMETSAT premises. The security reserves the right to expel persons who move away from the group. Visitor badges must be worn visibly at all times.

If there are any changes to the appointment or meeting point, please contact us at 0 61 51 - 13 45 14 (office Mon-Fri 9am-4pm). If the customer declares the cancellation of the guided tour later than 48 hours before the agreed start, WDM GmbH will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed total price. If the cancellation is made on the day of the guided tour or if the person making the booking does not appear within 20 minutes of the agreed tour date, 100% of the costs will be charged. The cancellation fee is due for payment immediately to the account indicated below. The official city map can be found on the Internet at www.darmstadt.de.Für. EUMETSAT guided tours must receive a complete list of participants (max. 20 persons per guided tour) at least five working days before the date of the tour. Only then can we properly register you with EUMETSAT and ensure a smooth tour. We therefore ask you to fill in the list of participants with your booking number, date and time of your guided tour and names and date of birth of the participants and send it back to us. Please use only our list in Excel format for this purpose. After that, unfortunately, name changes are no longer possible. You can find the list of participants here.
