Tour on the premises of the satellite control center.

The main control room and various satellite models will be visited during ongoing operations.

Please note: It is possible that the main control room is not available for viewing only depending on internal conditions.

Duration: 90 minutes

The maximum group size is 20 persons.

Participation by appointment only, minimum age 10 years.

All persons 16 years and older please bring a valid identity card!

Guided tours through ESA's ESOC in Darmstadt are only possible on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays!

Individual guided tours can be booked on Mondays at 10 or 12 o'clock and on Wednesdays and Fridays at 13 or 15 o'clock.

Therefore, please refrain from requests for other weekdays or the weekends.

ESOC is closed for visitors on holidays and bridge days!

Security information: The European Space Operations Center is a security area and is under full video surveillance. Large bags or backpacks are not allowed. There is no possibility to deposit them at the entrance.

Admission will be allowed only upon presentation of a valid passport or identity card. The identity documents will be checked for authenticity and retained for the duration of the stay. Driving licenses, residence permits, health insurance cards or similar will not be accepted as proof of identity. In accordance with the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act, personal data is collected and processed exclusively for a specific purpose and deleted after a certain period of time has elapsed.

The data will be protected by technical as well as organizational means. Persons who have not registered or have registered incorrectly will not be granted access. Visitor badges must be worn visibly at all times.

It is not permitted to move away from the group of visitors during the guided tour. Instructions given by security personnel must be followed. ESOC Security reserves the right to deny entry or eject from the premises any person who is uncooperative.

Conditions:

Guests should be dressed and equipped appropriately for the weather, as the tour will partially take place outdoors. The group leader will take care of the registration formalities at the gate. We kindly ask you to report to the visitor's gate 15 minutes before the appointed time. ESOC reserves the right to cancel the tour at any time for internal reasons. The customer is not entitled to any compensation for costs incurred as a result.

If there are any changes to the date or meeting point, please contact us at 0 61 51 - 13 45 14 (office Mon-Fri 9 am - 4 pm). If the customer declares the cancellation of the guided tour later than 48 hours before the agreed start, WDM GmbH will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed total price. If the cancellation is made on the day of the guided tour or if the person making the booking does not appear within 20 minutes of the agreed tour date, 100% of the costs will be charged. The cancellation fee is due for payment immediately to the account indicated below.

For ESOC tours, we must receive a complete list of participants (max. 20 people per tour) at least five working days before the date of the tour. Only then can we properly register you at ESOC and ensure a smooth tour. We therefore ask you to fill in the list of participants with your booking number, date and time of your guided tour and the names and nationalities of the participants and return it to us. Please use only our list in Excel format. After that, unfortunately, name changes are no longer possible.
