Description
The house in which the Sonnenglück holiday apartment is located is in a quiet side street. In front of the house there is a small square with benches and a stone fountain. The location is central, so that the town center, restaurants and shops can be easily reached on foot. The nearest bus stop is just 200 m away. The house has a total of 10 apartments, most of which are used as holiday apartments. The parking lot is behind the house.

The Königssee, with its emerald green color and steep rock faces, is a true paradise for nature lovers and photographers. Hikers, mountain bikers and mountaineers get their money's worth here, as do those seeking relaxation who want to enjoy the impressive landscape. The Watzmann, one of the most striking landmarks, the idyllic Obersee with the Röthbach Falls or the Hintersee with the magical forest in particular offer unforgettable experiences. But history and culture are not neglected either: the Berchtesgaden salt mine, the Kehlsteinhaus and numerous sights in the area make your stay a special experience. Arrival Description
Many roads lead to Schönau am Königssee. If you are travelling by car, you will usually arrive via the A8. Here it is advisable to take the Bad Reichenhall exit, as the next motorway section otherwise leads over the Austrian motorway, which requires a vignette. From the Bad Reichenhall exit, first follow the signs to Berchtesgaden and then to Schönau am Königssee. If you are travelling by train, you can take the bus from Berchtesgaden station to Schönau (it is advisable to register for the guest card in advance, as you will then travel for free from Berchtesgaden. You will receive the link to register before you arrive). If you choose to travel by plane, Salzburg (Austria) is the nearest airport. From there you can get to Schönau am Königssee by rental car, taxi or public transport.
