Our lovingly furnished in rural style vacation apartment "Abendsonne", is located on the 1st floor in our country house. It includes a west balcony with mountain view, connected with an outside staircase leading to the covered terrace and garden, it is also the entrance of the separately closed mansard apartment (41sqm).This includes a bedroom with peasant painting (16sqm), a peasant wardrobe, chest of drawers & mirror, a double bed 200x200 and a single bed 190x90 and a wardrobe, ideal for families with a child (not baby/toddler friendly) or couples. Also a dressing table with vanity mirror & wipes as well as cotton pads & chopsticks are ready for you. The living room is equipped with, the dining area, the couch, TV/Netflix, DVD, stereo (Bluethoos, CD, DAB+/WLAN free of charge), in it is also the well-equipped kitchen among others with microwave, coffee & dishwasher, blender, egg-u. kettle, toaster, spices, tea, coffee & filter paper, salt, sugar etc. In the bathroom is the shower, a sink & mirror cabinet (side view), soap in dispenser, hairdryer, separate toilet. Enjoy your feel-good vacation in a quiet, sunny and central location (3km to the A8, Neukirchen junction), in the Chiemgau region between Salzburg and Lake Chiemsee, with an unobstructed view of the mountains from the balcony, terrace or pool in the beautifully landscaped garden.Our cozy vacation apartment "Abendsonne", is located on the 1st floor in our country house, on the Wirtshof with farmhouse flair. The property has existed since 1827 and was for a long time, in addition to agriculture, run as an inn.Our idyllic village of Knappenfeld, on the outskirts of Siegsdorf, is located on a ridge (700m altitude) embedded in the high moorland of the Pechschnait, with an open location and view of a beautiful mountain panorama and many riding, cycling and hiking opportunities. Great e-bike region/bike parking available). Enjoy the beautiful nature along forest and meadow paths with refreshing streams. Afterwards relax at the in-house pool and let the day end comfortably with candlelight on the covered terrace or at the grill & campfire place with the macramé swings.In the pool/garden house is among other things a refrigerator for drinks, which you can acquire gladly with us.
Environment description
Unsere Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen (3 km zur A8, Anschluss Neukirchen) zwischen dem Chiemsee (18km) und Salzburg (30km), wir befinden uns am Rande des Chiemgaus neben dem Rupertiwinkel, dem Berchtesgadener Land mit dem Königsee (45km), Reit im Winkel (39km)usw. Die Umgebung hat einiges zu bieten, über die Berge mit zahlreichen Wanderwegen, Bergbahnen, Almen und Seen in herrlicher Natur, den Märchen- und Freizeitparks Ruhpolding (15km) und Marquartstein, sowie eine Sommerrodelbahn, Skipisten, das Biathlonzentrum (20km) und dem Holzknechtmuseum in Ruhpoling. Es gibt viele Erlebnisbäder und Hallenbäder/Thermen in Siegsdorf, Traunstein, Ruhpolding, Inzell, Bad Reichenhall, Prien am Chiemsee (35km) sowie einen Hochseilgarten usw. In Siegsdort gibt es ein tolles Naturkunde/Mammut Museum und viele weitere Flyer für Aktivitäten liegen für Sie in unserer Ferienwohnung bereit.

Wir sind eine Familie mit 3 Generationen mit Oma Fini und Opa Sepp, wir Christine und Werner mit Tochter Annalena und befinden uns in der 6ten Generation. Unsere Familie ist seit über 120 Jahren auf dem schönen Anwesen, das früher eine Gastwirtschaft war, deswegen "Wirtshof", inmitten eines kleinen Naturparadieses im Hochmoorgebiet, der "Pechschnaitt", vor einer traumhaften Bergkulisse. Unsere Familie ist sehr traditionsbewusst und heimatverbunden. Wir freuen uns über jeden Gast und Besuch, die Gastfreundschaft und "Bewirtung" liegt uns sehr am Herzen.
