Welcome to Hotel Königssee, located directly on the shores of Lake Königssee. Here in Schönau am Königssee you will enjoy the wonderful Berchtesgaden Alps from the very beginning. Directly in front of your comfortable room, equipped with shower or bath / WC, cable TV and direct dial telephone, lies the dark green Königssee with its crystal clear water and the imposing mountain massifs of the Berchtesgaden Alps, which rise before you into the Bavarian sky. Attractive hiking trails through the pristine Alpine National Park begin right outside your front door. From the nearby bus stop you can easily reach the sights and excursion destinations of the Berchetesgadener Land. The nearby cultural city of Salzburg can be reached in just 30 minutes by car. Our traditional hotel with modern 3-star comfort has been owned by the Josef Grösswang family in uninterrupted succession since 1862. We would be very pleased to welcome you as our guests as well.

Arrival Description
You drive on the A8 in the direction of Salzburg. You leave the A8 at the last exit before the Austrian border - Bad Reichenhall. Then you continue on the B20 via Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallturm, Bischofswiesen to Berchtesgaden. In Berchtesgaden, turn into Königssee at the main train station until you see an AGIP gas station on the left. There you drive straight on through the parking lot barrier over the bus parking lot. At the next fork, turn right along Seestraße until you reach the last house on the left, directly on the lake.
