The perfect address when it comes to a farm vacation apartment in the Chiemgau Alps. Our farm is beautifully situated on a hill between the Hochplatte and the Kampenwand. The first thing our guests enjoy after their arrival is the great view. And that's no wonder, from here you have an overview of the Chiemsee, the Moor nature reserve, the village of Rottau and the Hochgern! Our apartments are all newly renovated and classified with 4 to 5 stars so that you will not lack anything during your vacation - and if you do, we are always available for you. Environment description
A popular leisure activity of our guests is a round trip with one of the Chiemsee ships. In Prien, Gstadt, Seebruck, Chieming or Bernau you can start your sea voyage and visit the towns as well as the two islands Herrenchiemsee and Frauenchiemsee. On Herreninsel, King Ludwig II's castle awaits you and can also be visited. The oldest Benedictine monastery in Germany, on the other hand, is located on Fraueninsel. During a tour of Hohenaschau Castle, you will get interesting reviews of the history of the Priental. You will also be amazed by the castle's magnificent rooms and gardens. We also recommend a visit to the castle's own falconry. There you can watch specially trained falcons at work and experience daredevil flight maneuvers.
About the host
We do not only care about the well-being of our guests, because we have also created a real feel-good paradise for our animals. Our farm is not just a petting zoo, but a real farm with living agriculture. From an agricultural point of view, we have specialized in mother cow husbandry. Our cows live in a modern barn with a lot of freedom of movement and their own massage station. The cows can leave the barn and graze on the adjacent pasture. Besides the cows, goats and horses also live with us on the farm. The friendly goats are used to guests and are happy every day anew about visitors and many strokes. Our cuddly tomcat Lenzi is happy to be petted. And also our rabbits want your attention and food every day.
